This really is a delightful Accent Ian. I hope you do keep posting more photos as it develops. I am a huge fan of Accents and i do believe they make such a wonderful addition to a bonsai collection, not just in the traditional sense but in their own right as well. 🙂 Regards Martin.

Then again, perhaps Wild Lettuce, Rattlesnake Weed, Mouse-ear Hawkweed, Two-flowered Cynthia, Prickly Lettuce, Yellow Hawkweed, Yellow Goatsbeard, Dwarf Dandelion, Fall Dandelion, Cat’s-ear, Lamb Succory, Hairy Lettuce, Nipplewort, Canada Hawkweed, Rough Hawkweed, Panicled Hawkweed, Hairy Hawkweed, Smoothish Hawkweed, Seaside Dandelion, Scalebud, Desert Dandelion, Yellow Tackstem, Nodding Microseris, False Dandelion, Bristly Ox Tongue.
Or maybe none of the above:-)

Hi Ian! Your accent planting is called Coltsfoot. They grow profusely here in the states and are the first bloomers of the year, usually February. They are interesting in that when picked and placed in water, the stem will continue to elongate. Very nice to see them bloom along with the last of the snow. I very much enjoy your posts. Thank you for your service! Regards, Barb (bkohler fromWT)

Thanks Barb, Someone on the IBC beat you to it, but they didn’t give anywhere near the amount of info you did. Thanks for following and keep the comments coming 🙂
