Get the kettle on and then sit down and enjoy.I love watching this sort of show critique, especially when messers Neill and Noelanders know their stuff 🙂

Foliage
Sad perhaps, but sometimes foliage makes me happy 🙂 I love looking over the benching and seeing the different colours.
Yes, very sad indeed!

Last Minute Work
I spent a little time running around the garden on Sunday trimming trees and weeding. I head off to hospital today for shoulder surgery and I wanted to try and get things done now before I can’t do them for myself. I should have taken more snaps to show what I was working on but I just didn’t have the time. I have some posts lined up to appear while I’m in hospital but I probably won’t be able to reply to emails and posts comments for a while. I hope to be back doing some one arm typing by the end of the week.

Elm cutting all around.

Garage Night
A few mates around at the weekend for a night of playing with trees. A good turn out with 12 on the night. It’s as well I have a big garage!!
Congratulations Spain
Congratulations to Spain for winning Euro 2012. You had me worried that your play were getting a bit boring, all passing, no attacks on goal, but you pulled a great final out of the bag. Pity it was 10 against 11 for a good part of the match. I felt sorry for Italy to lose under such circumstances.
As a Liverpool supporter I have a soft spot for many of the Spanish players, and as a Northern Ireland fan I also have a fond memory of watching us beat Spain at Windsor Park 3-2 🙂
Here are a few good Spanish Bonsai Blogs to check out. Enjoy.

Gravel Tray
Even with my accents sitting in grit/gravel there have been a few days when I have struggled to keep them watered!

It hasn’t stopped my wild strawberry from shooting runners!

Spirea
My Spirea has decided to start flowering. In about a week we should have a colourful display.

More Hostas
I have a few more hostas that I’m growing on this year with a view to splitting them in the Spring. These were given to me by my friend Stephen.
