Wow, I love the Rowan! How do you prune rowan? I have two and was wondering if you can cut the top apex off? Will it cause it to side bud? Thanks

Hi Kirstian,
This is a Sorbus Reducta, a dwarf variety of Rowan.
Yes you can cut back to get side budding. I have done a larger Rowan for a friend in recent years and it responded well to heavy pruning.
