Bonsai Eejit on Facebook

Today Facebook decided that my ‘Bonsai Eejit’ profile on their site was not a real person. The locked me out of my profile and my only option was to change it over to a ‘page’. I have done this but as a result I have lost all my  bonsai friends & contacts!! I have now set up a new profile ‘Ian Young (Bonsai Eejit)’ Please add me as a friend on the new profile if you wish to stay in contact by this means.

I am not a lover of Facebook as a company, but it’s not until something like this happens that you realise just how reliant you are on it to stay in contact with friends around the world.

August Group Workshop

Back by popular demand! Myself and Phil will be hosting a group Bonsai Workshop on Saturday 22nd August 10am to 5pm for 6-8 people.

Cost is £30 for the day including a snack lunch tea and coffee etc.

This is a great opportunity to do some seasonal work on your trees under instruction.

Bookings taken on a first come first served basis. This is not a club event and is open to all.

Some images below of previous workshops and a link to the last one here in March

Some pictures of trees shown at the  NI Bonsai Society display at Greenmount last weekend.  I only took pictures of trees that I haven’t seen displayed at recent events this year.

Roses Grow on You

The other day Stephen and I did a little propagation of some mini roses in a cutting session. About 6 varieties in total I think with the very tasty super mini getting multiplied 😉
