Trident Update

My Root Over Rock Trident Maple is pushing hard after it’s repot.

My other Trident, not repotted this year is also at a similar stage.

Hawthorn Bursting and Back Budding

I seem to have prolific back budding on some collected Hawthorn this year. This first one was the air layer taken back in 2010.

This one is slighter further on.

These had to be rubbed off.

This little Shohin is starting to back bud well too. A ways to go yet though.

A Walk Around Willowbog

While I was over at Willowbog last weekend I took a few video clips of the Nursery and some stills of the trees. Rather than have them just sitting on my hard drive, I have put them together for a little walking tour of the some, but not all parts of the nursery.

Fuji Flowers

Grabbed a few photos of my Fuji Cherry today. Had to be today as this year sees it pushing leaves after the flower very quickly. It’ll need a trim after flowering but the vigour this year seems to be even stronger than previous years.

Bonsai Blogs Bundle

I have a Google Reader Bundle Link on my Bonsai Bloggers link page that allows anyone to view my favourite Bonsai Blogs. It was kindly pointed out to me that one of the blogs had been hacked and some absolute rubbish was being added that was spoiling the fun for everyone viewing.

I have therefore created a new bundle for 2012 and changed the link. You can now view 180 bonsai blogs. Some are more active than others but all are worth a look. You can either save this link and view at your leisure or, if you have google reader, just add this bundle to your subscription list.

Yesterdays Walk under Blue Sky
