Allium Accent #1

I have 3 Alliums small enough for accents. I’ve been trying to get them named as the original owner didn’t keep the label.

This one is about to flower. I think, and I’m by no means certain, that it’s Allium Mairei Var. Amabile. We shall see if I’m right!

I see lots of people posting images online of their Hawthorn in flower. I haven’t long to wait either 🙂

Accent – Wild and Wonderful

A few that have sort of looked after themselves mostly with native grasses, ferns etc. I love the wild unkempt look.

Look for the full story in ‘International Bonsai’  2012 issue #4. The tree is featured on the cover of that issue, with thanks to Bill Valavanis. It’s amazing how so many fellow bonsaiists worked together to make…

Garden Centre Opening Soon!!

Only joking but my place is starting to look like one with the amount of accents I have been propagating. I opted to have a tidy up/clearout in one of the tunnels and have put in a few makeshift benches. This allowed me to move some accents around so I could see exactly what I had.

Super Mini Rose Bud

I got this little Rose in a swap last Autumn with Jose over at Centro Bonsai Tenerife. I have been waiting with anticipation to see the first flower and it looks like it’s going to be tiny 🙂
