Bonsai Eejit 
I like his observation that a bunjin that is too curvy looks contrived, while one that is too straight is boring. Good reminder.

There are some bonsai that look incredible being ram-rod straight with a crazy bend at the apex. I’ll try and dig up the trident maple I saw in this style. It was very cool. By and large though, too far one way or the other is not as interesting.
