Corkbark Elm Colour

This little Corkbark elm has come a long way in 2 years after I layered the top off. This was it earlier in the week. It was in a green house and had therefore held it’s leaves. I took a snap before I hoed off the dad leaves.

Hornbeam Project

This field grown Hornbeam is going to be one of my Winter projects. Some wiring and carving required. This tree has had very little work so far but it will make a nice tree with time.

Another Beech Wood walk today, this time at Redburn, overlooking Belfast. It was all yellows and browns and as usual I found a few Fungi too.

Roy’s Hazel

Roy C, a local bonsai enthusiast has shared a few photos of his trees with me, and I just love this Hazel. For me a change of pot would just set this tree off.

Just past it’s best.
