I sort of said that I would be ignoring milestones on the blog until I hit a really big one, but this one’s not on the blog 🙂
Hard to believe that I have reached 1000 on my YouTube channel subscriptions. This has really pissed my son off as his only has 200 😀 Over 250,000 views as well!!

How did you grow your channel? I just looked at your blog stats …. you’re almost at a cool million? How long have you blogged with this account and your channel? What is your YouTube about? Does it incorporate humor? I’m on the verge of starting my own channel. I want to come out swinging.

Blogging since February 2011 and YouTube channel since October 2010. Spent a little time initially getting some topic related popular blogs and sites to link to me but the main attraction seems to be daily posts. Make sure you tag plenty too. As for The YouTube channel, I have no idea 🙂 Its a specific content channel looking at bonsai, same as the blog. Therefore its a limited target audience but I must be doing something right!

You are definitely doing something right. I use tags very well. At least 10. However, i don’t do daily posts because my blog is conceptual. I took a look. It’s about planting, trees, etc. I want to doing something with humor and well-written. I wonder what your son is doing wrong to trail you in views and subscribers?

It’s sort of both Gary, didn’t see the point in trying to do everything twice. All the videos posted for the club are from me. We have a special promo one on the way as soon as my son does a little editing. He’s making it for his tech course 🙂
