Hey Ian, I am starting to get involved with accent plants to display with my trees. I have some ideas of different plant material to use. I’m sure there is a difference between regular plants and succulent plants so with that said, what do u use for soil for your accents?

It’s a work in progress Erick. After my visit to Bali Hai yesterday I think I might add a few things. I have been using fine grade akadama or clay mixed with grit. I’m going to add a little peat and perlite too now I think. It does vary from plant to plant but Just go for a general mix. I think it’s more important to place them in the right amount of light, especially with hostas.
