Always worth having in your accent collection. I really must gather up some more varieties of these.

Even with my accents sitting in grit/gravel there have been a few days when I have struggled to keep them watered!

It hasn’t stopped my wild strawberry from shooting runners!

I have a few more hostas that I’m growing on this year with a view to splitting them in the Spring. These were given to me by my friend Stephen.

Iced Lemon

A few of my hostas are teasing me with flower heads!
Cracker Crumbs

Call me that if you like but aren’t Pink flowers pretty 😉

I was rather pleased with a few of the accents I used at the exhibition at the weekend.
A collection of plants along with some mud rock.

Stephen gave me this little carnivorous Bog Plant as an accent back at the start of Spring. You have to keep it very wet, but it was worth it 🙂

As my collection of Hostas keeps growing, I decided to relocate them to a shadier spot in the garden as I felt that there old spot with the rest of the accents was to sunny. Here’s the corner they now occupy between two of the poly tunnels. Note the grit try they are sitting in.

I put this kusamono together a few years back. It was my first attempt at a mixed planting as opposed to the usual one pot one plant accent. It’s actually starting to mature nicely, shame about the pot now. That’s a little bit of Irish mud rock in there.

I’ve been splitting and potting up more accents. I wanted to make use of a few pots I got at the BSA exhibition.
This is a Lichen with red flowering trumpets in a Suteki pot.

Some Japanese Horsetail, also suteki pot.

and another suteki pot with an unknown plant, answers on a post card please 🙂

All still to mature but I’ll keep you posted.
